Josie is a December 2026 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she will earn her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Early Childhood Education and Intervention and Children’s Literature and Childhood Studies. She currently serves as a Peer Health Educator and Interpersonal Violence Lead with the Center for Wellness Promotion, where she promotes mental and physical well-being through education, outreach, advocacy, and campus initiatives. Her academic and professional interests focus on supporting those through inclusive, developmentally appropriate approaches, with a particular passion for play therapy. Josie is committed to creating safe, welcoming, and supportive spaces where children and other individuals can express themselves, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills, while making a meaningful impact on campus and in the broader community.
