Green Dot Week
March 18-21, 2024
The Center for Wellness Promotion’s Green Dot program is celebrating its first Green Dot Week - March 18th-21st! We are highlighting the mission of Green Dot by hosting interactive events throughout the week. By participating in Green Dot Week, we hope to inspire you to take action and do your part to create a campus culture where interpersonal violence is no longer tolerated.
Event Calendar
Student Union Lobby Rotunda
Red dots symbolize instances of sexual assault, dating violence, or stalking on our campus; while a Green Dot is an action someone takes to intervene or prevent these instances. Stop by to share your green dot, and how you plan to make an impact!
Location: All over campus
- Our team has hidden Green Dots all around campus for you to find. Find 3 hidden green dots to receive the $25 prize. There will be 5 winners.

5PM-6PM
Virtual
- Attend an overview training to learn how to recognize, react, and prevent sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking on our campus.
- Sign up here
6PM-7PM
CHHS/COED Plaza
- Materials will be available to create your own or you can use the provided templates.
- Snacks will be offered!
4:30PM-8:00PM
Student Union 200
- Attend our in-depth bystander training to learn how to use your social influence to reduce sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking on our campus
- Dinner and swag provided!

2PM-3:30PM
Student Union 340C
- Attend a faculty/staff training to learn skills to intervene in instances of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking; identify warning signs; and explore opportunities to engage in violence prevention on-campus
- Search “Green Dot” in the Learning and Developement Portal
5PM-7PM
Students must arrive by 5:10PM to participate
Student Union 340
- Create a team or come on your own to play a series of competitive games. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive a prize - including Stanley & Owala Water Bottles, Yeti Travel Mugs, Portable Speakers, and more!
- First 100 guests will receive t-shirts and all attendees will be treated to a free dinner (while supplies last)!
