Relationship Violence Awareness Month

October is Relationship Violence Awareness Month!

Throughout the month, the Center for Wellness Promotion will host workshops to promote resources and build a supportive community for survivors of relationship violence and all forms of interpersonal violence.

Please join us as we spread awareness and implement initiatives to shape a safer community. More information can be found on the RVAM calendar or on Instagram @clt_cwp.

10/3 | 1-3PM | Star Quad

Join campus and community partners in the Star Quad for giveaways, resources, and tips to support survivors of relationship violence!

10/21 | 5PM | Fretwell 116

In this workshop, we will discuss the relationship spectrum and strategies for identifying healthy vs. toxic (unhealthy) relationship characteristics. Students will learn about power and control, setting boundaries, healthy communication, and practicing consent. These skills apply to all relationships including platonic, romantic, sexual, and other personal relationships.

10/28 | 6PM | Cone After Hours

Grab your boo or a couple friends for a fun trivia night and costume party to learn more about relationship tips and tricks for everyone. Costumes are encouraged and the best costume of the night will receive a prize.

Join us for food, prizes, dancing, and relationship trivia!
