Graduate Assistant for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention

Kaitlyn Leverton is a Spring 2024 graduate of UNC Charlotte with a BS in Psychology and is currently pusuring her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Community Health Practice. She currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention under the Center for Wellness Promotion. In this role, she develops, implements, and evaluates evidence-based programs that promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and provide students with practical strategies for suicide prevention. She is excited about continuing her work in the Charlotte community and boosting mental health advocacy and student wellbeing.
