Mariana Becerra

Mariana Becerra is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a concentration in Health Communication at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As a Wellness Peer Health Educator for the Center for Wellness Promotion, she serves as a Lead for Interpersonal Violence and Healthy Relationships. Mariana has facilitated and conducted outreach events on a wide range of topics, such as sexual health, substance abuse, and mental health. She is enthusiastic about collaborating with other Peer Educators to support students in making healthier lifestyle choices.
