
Kisha received her Bachelors of Art in Human Services from Gardner Webb University and her Masters of Arts in Counseling from our very own UNC at Charlotte. Most of Kisha’s work has been in the non-profit sector working with various populations providing Substance Abuse and Mental Health counseling. In recent years, she has been focused on providing therapeutic interventions for those living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus and the LGBTQ+ community. She has a passion for building recovery programs that are inclusive and self-governing by applying her vast knowledge of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and additional evidence based therapeutic techniques. In her role of Associate Director for Collegiate Recovery, she will bring her commitment and passion to providing a program that supports our clients throughout their journey.
