Mental Health Peer Educator
Claudia Medina is pursuing two bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is passionate about utilizing knowledge from both fields of study to create meaningful connections between her community and the resources available at the university. She works as a peer educator under the Price Center for Counseling and Psychological Services to plan outreach events advocating for the mental well-being of students. She also works with CAPS staff to create and publish posts on the official social media sites. She is enthusiastic to work with her fellow peer educators to refer students to appropriate resources and ensure they can access the support and opportunities they need.
