Alydia Monahan

Alydia Monahan has a Psychology degree from Brevard College. She is now pursuing a Masters in Public Health with a focus on Health Policy. Her interest are in women's health and decreasing financial barriers to health access. During Alydia's time in undergrad she interned for two non-profits: El Centro Communitario Hispano American where she tutored elementary students and assisted with grant writing, and Pisgah Health Foundation where she focused on poverty reduction and community wellness. Alydia is currently a Graduate Assistant for the Center for Wellness & Promotion serving in Substance Use and Prevention work as well as assisting with ATOD programs. She is eager to build community at UNCC and began her career journey in health and wellbeing.
