Tyisha received her Bachelors of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Masters of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Most of Tyisha’s work over the last seven years has been focused on developing and implementing health promotion initiatives that address risk factors of poor nutrition, physical inactivity, substance use, violence and unintentional injury.  As Associate Director for Wellness Promotion Initiatives, Tyisha will provide leadership in the development and implementation of a holistic campus health and wellbeing initiative.  Tyisha is dedicated to advancing health equity for all people and helping individuals reach their optimal level of health.
